The SCM Compliance Manager will oversee the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department’s support for prime contract proposals and awards, liaising with the AMG Contracts, Pricing, Finance Government Compliance and Business Development Departments to understand and implement pre- and post- award SCM actions necessary to satisfy prime contract proposals and awarded contracts.  An in-depth understanding of FAR and DFARS, and Terms and Conditions is necessary to successfully perform the role.  The position will include supervisory requirements of Proposal and Compliance Analysts.


  • Prepare Terms and Conditions (Ts and Cs) packages that align with prime contact requirements for release to suppliers.  Provide Ts and Cs direction, guidance and support to SCM buyers and managers during the conduct of any supplier negotiations
  • Liaise with Contracts, Government Finance Compliance and Pricing departments to ensure all proposal and post-award SCM requirements are identified, supported and implemented.  Support any pre- or post- award DCAA or DCMA audits
  • Liaise with Business Development to support any new capture business possibilities. 
  • Represent SCM Compliance on any Integrated Product Teams, collaborating with other departments to ensure appropriate consideration is given to SCM compliance policies
  • Support efforts to prepare SCM and support any DCMA business system audits, including CPSR and Estimating System
  • Audit SCM contract files to ensure compliance with SCM Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Commercial Item Determinations, Price Analysis, Negotiations and Sole Source Justifications. 
  • Assist with developing and implementing SCM Policies and Procedures to increase employee awareness and ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations.
  • Assist in development and implementation of tools and processes designed to increase employee awareness, efficiency, and understanding of compliance policies
  • Serve as the Assistant Small Business Liaison Officer, providing guidance and support to SCM and inter-department team members to ensure consideration is given to furtherance of corporate small business initiatives and compliance with Federal/DOD small business program requirements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Affairs is required.
  • Advanced, in-depth knowledge and working experience in FAR and DFARS, including but not limited to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 acquisitions, commerciality determinations and cybersecurity
  • Experience in CPSR, DCAA audits.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Ability to work independently and with others, including subordinates, peers and executives.


  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. 
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. 
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and or move objects up to 25 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to physically support a manufacturing environment through evaluation of on the floor issue resolution and problem solving.


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routine uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and copy, fax and scanning machines.


Up to 25% of travel may be required.
